ABOUT

About5 BG.png
Starting out on his first blog in 2006, Mayukh wrote his first poem in 2009 and continued to write poetry, short stories, memoirs through the years. Relentless in his pursuit for all things art, music & words, he donned many hats to bring to life his creativity that talk of change, love, realism & dreams, contrasts & myriad moods.
As an artist, he finds all kinds of art- visual, musical, poetry & prosaic- truly satisfying as they hold endless possibilities in their very depths. Through this blend of
various art-forms, he brings out his true essence as an individual who loves to explore from a kaleidoscope of perspectives.

With roots in the cultural capital of India, Mayukh has been exposed to various
culture-scapes as a child & as an adult, with a curious eye for details and subtle human emotions. With no formal training in music or literature, he carves his own niche with his individualistic works that speak the mind of the urban young & matured soul who wears his heart on his sleeve.

Surprisingly,
music & writing is not what his primary job is. Mayukh is a software professional for close to ten years now and credits art to have helped keep his creative identity alive, comforting him through life's ups and downs. He is a cinema buff and reads voraciously through all kinds of fiction and non-fiction genres. With a big bucket list in life and always looking to tick things off it, he is a stickler for effective time management and a positive work-life balance.

He has penned over a
hundred poems, written and composed numerous songs and instrumentals, producing all of his work by himself, designed artwork for everything he has published and forayed into video creation and production for all his music.
Looking for perfection in all he does, he prefers a
hands-on approach to any project from its conception to its final result.

"It's crazy how time stands still, slows down and moves at breakneck speed at the same time. Maybe that's a concept that cannot be solved with equations. So, maybe we just give in to this discombobulation and use our time to do what our heart wants."
